No better place to be for San Diego wedding photography than Balboa Park on this beautiful Saturday in late April. After a rainy night the morning was exceptional with deep blue sky and sporadic fluffy clouds. The gorgeous couple could not have picked a better place or time for their wedding.
The beautiful bride Kathleen and her bridesmaids got ready for the wedding at the US Grant in downtown San Diego. The ceremony was held at the charming St. Francis Chapel in Balboa Park. After the ceremony we had time to capture some beautiful wedding portraits in the romantic settings of the historic Balboa Park. Could photograph there for days.
After pictures everyone left for the for the reception venue. Newlyweds had the comfiest ride in a classic 1969 Rolls-Royce Shadow provided by Rolls Livery.
Reception was held at the cozy Oliver & Rose in downtown San Diego which also makes a exquisite backdrop for wedding photos.
The entire celebration into the late hours was filled with love, joy, and happiness marking a new exciting beginning in their lives.
Congratulations Kathleen & Christopher!
It was a perfect day for this gorgeous country themed wedding at the OC Fair Centennial Farm in Costa Mesa, California. Bride was all smiles while getting ready and groom could not have been happier to see his beautiful wife-to-be. They both were super excited for the first look.
No heels zone! Girls wore cowboy boots and so did guys.
The ceremony was inside the Millennium Barn. The pigs also wanted to be a part of the ceremony and as the officiant was saying “speak now or forever hold your peace” suddenly they spoke… Everyone bursted into laughter which lasted for a while. O.K. it was not exactly at that moment, but they made sure that already very memorable and beautiful ceremony became even more memorable.
Guest enjoyed mingling, eating great food (amazing juicy steak), dancing and playing games… and of course no wedding would be complete without the wedding cake. No one had as much fun as the newlyweds.
Orange County wedding photography at the The Centennial Farm was very exciting. There are plenty of animals and a vegetable garden to see. After all it is a full functioning farm. It was cozy and we felt as if we were somewhere far in the country and not in the middle of Southern California. Wedding was gorgeous, heartfelt and truly a joy to photograph.
